Career
Career
Four years of studio work between 2010 and 2014, and a second career in sex education that began before the studio work ended.
An amateur route in
She did not start with an agency or a casting call. Homegrown Video built its catalogue from viewer submissions, and in 2010 a scene she shot with her partner Nick won the company's first contest. The buyout was $1,000 and the scene went into a coming release. Trade coverage of the win is what put her name in front of studios.
Studio years
kink.com was the studio that used her most. Her first scenes there went live in October 2010, and she worked across the site's bondage, machine, wrestling and fetish series through 2014. IAFD records 57 performance credits in that window, with 2010 the busiest year and single credits in 2013 and 2014.
A second job title
In April 2011 her own site was rebuilt around a different description: sex educator, performance artist, writer. The workshop list included "Girl on Girl: A Queer Sex Primer for Women", a three-part "Let's Talk About Sex" series on consent, dirty talk and BDSM negotiation, and a talk on feminism, queer politics and polyamory. She also ran training for medical, nursing and physician assistant students.
Performance work
Her stage and art work included suspension bondage performed with Five Star at Femina Potens' Art of Restraint, a needle and suspension piece inspired by Black Swan, burlesque with GLITTERACTION!, and the Bondage Dinner series at Supperclub. She has listed venues as varied as the Bay Area Anarchist Book Fair, MONDOHOMO, Slovenia's Gay Pride and friends' living rooms.
